Annual Salary: £33,603 - £38,169 per annum
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week (some weekends maybe require with prior notice)

Vetting Level - Management - you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years, with less than 12 months spent abroad (some exceptions for those living on a UK military base).
Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Police Staff Investigator at PIP Level 2 to join their Public Protection - Children At Risk of Exploitation Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to meaningful investigations that make a significant impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting serious and complex investigations, including:
Taking ownership of criminal investigations and developing proportionate investigation plans.
Interviewing victims and witnesses while ensuring compliance with the Victims Charter.
Interviewing suspects in line with PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act) Code C and E.
Gathering and utilising intelligence effectively to enhance investigations.
Preparing comprehensive case files for presentation in Magistrates and Crown Courts, adhering to strict deadlines and compliance with relevant legislation.
Attending court to provide evidence related to investigations.
Representing the organisation in multi-agency meetings and case conferences.Candidate Profile:

A strong understanding of the Criminal Justice System and relevant legislation.
Experience in gathering data and interviewing techniques.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyse material.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse case load effectively.
PIP Level 2 qualifications or equivalent investigatory experience.Ideal Attributes:
Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and operational needs.
