SEN Teaching Assistants - Full-Time Temp to Perm Opportunities
Location: Oxford - OX2, OX3 & OX4
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, term-time only - Temp to Perm
Schools: 7 specialist SEN schools
We are currently recruiting for 5 enthusiastic, caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to work across 7 specialist SEN schools in Oxford.
These are excellent opportunities for individuals looking to build a rewarding career supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The roles are full-time, Monday to Friday and offer the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
Previous experience working in an SEN setting is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience who are passionate about working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
Suitable experience may include:
Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant
Youth Worker or Youth Mentor
Support Worker or Care Worker
Healthcare Assistant
Nursery or Early Years Practitioner
Behaviour Support Worker
Residential Support Worker
Sports Coach or Activity Leader
Tutor, Cover Supervisor or Classroom Volunteer
Parent/carer with relevant transferable experience
Customer service, hospitality, retail or other people-focused backgrounds

Experience supporting children or young people with autism, ADHD, complex needs, challenging behaviour or other SEN would be beneficial, although full training and support will be provided to the right candidates.
