Opportunity: Residential Conveyancer
Location: Frome | Hybrid & Flexible Working
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Bonus
If you're a conveyancer who knows your way around a residential caseload but you're also looking for a team you'll actually enjoy being part of, this one is worth a look!
I'm working with a well-established, independent South West firm that is growing its Residential Property team in Frome. They're open to both qualified and non-qualified candidates so whether you're a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or an experienced fee earner who hasn't quite taken that final qualification step yet, they're interested in hearing from you.
What matters most is that you've got at least three years' fee-earning residential conveyancing experience and can confidently run your own caseload.
What's The Role Like?
You'll have ownership of your own residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion - dealing with everything from title checks, contracts and enquiries through to keeping clients, agents and lenders updated.
It's a proper fee-earning role but you're not going to be left to battle through your caseload on your own.
The team is headed up by a hugely experienced residential property lawyer with over 20 years in the area and it's a really collaborative department. People share ideas, help each other out and enjoy seeing their colleagues do well.
In other words, experienced enough to trust you to get on with it, supportive enough that you can ask a question when you need to.
And if you're not qualified yet? That's absolutely fine. The firm will support you with qualification, accreditations, study and wider professional development so there's a clear opportunity to keep progressing rather than feeling like you've reached the ceiling.
Why This One?
There is a lot to like here:
Bonus
Hybrid working
28 days' annual leave + bank holidays, with the option to buy up to 5 additional days
Enhanced pension
Enhanced maternity pay
Support with qualifications, accreditations, study and professional development
Length of service awards
Discounted legal services
Free eye tests and flu jabs
Social events
Strong links with and support for the local community, including dedicated support days
But honestly, the biggest selling point is the people!
This is a family-friendly firm where work-life balance actually matters, leadership is approachable and the team has a really positive reputation internally. You'll be based from a new, contemporary office in Frome, while still having the flexibility that comes with hybrid working.
It's a great fit if you want somewhere you can build a career, have a life outside of work and know the people you work with actually have your back.
If you're happy where you are, I'm not here to convince you otherwise. But if you've been thinking "I wouldn't mind a change if the right thing came along…" then this might be it! Arrange an informal, confidential chat at or apply directly.
