Salary: £33,925 – £35,650 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Are you an experienced Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator looking for a varied role where no two days are the same?
We are recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative and organisational support to a senior member of a large, well-established community-focused organisation serving communities across East London and Essex.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, managing competing priorities and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
The Role
As Personal Assistant, you will be the main point of contact for the office, providing professional and proactive support across diary management, meetings, correspondence, research and general administration.
You will need excellent organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and the confidence to use your own initiative. The role will involve dealing with confidential and sensitive information, so discretion and diplomacy are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a busy diary, arranging and coordinating appointments and meetings.
Organise meetings involving multiple stakeholders, both virtually and face-to-face.
Prepare agendas, meeting papers, minutes and action points.
Attend meetings and take accurate notes or minutes where required.
Act as a key point of contact, responding to enquiries and correspondence professionally.
Draft emails, letters and other correspondence.
Welcome visitors and provide a professional and friendly first point of contact.
Carry out research and present information in a clear and accessible format.
Coordinate events, meetings, training sessions and associated documentation.
Support recruitment and appointment processes, including advertising vacancies, coordinating applications, references and background checks.
Maintain accurate records and ensure key processes and deadlines are followed.
Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Order stationery and office supplies and assist with the smooth running of the office.
Undertake general administrative duties and provide additional support as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
An experienced PA, Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident managing a busy diary and multiple priorities.
Experienced in arranging meetings with a range of stakeholders.
An excellent written and verbal communicator.
Comfortable drafting professional correspondence.
Confident using Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Teams, Zoom and electronic diary systems.
Able to work independently and use initiative.
Discreet, professional and diplomatic when dealing with confidential matters.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing changing priorities.
A proactive self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of their workload.
Willing and able to travel occasionally across the wider area.
Essential Requirements
At least A-Level standard or equivalent education.
Proven experience providing PA or senior administrative support.
Experience managing diaries and coordinating meetings.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A current full driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with appropriate business-use insurance.
