Warehouse & Yard Operative
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operative with Forklift Certifications to support the efficient running of our warehouse and yard.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Receive, pick, prepare, load and store stock safely and accurately.
Maintain stock accuracy and complete stock checks.
Load and unload vehicles.
Provide excellent service to customers collecting or returning goods.
Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe.
Carry out forklift and equipment checks and report any issues.
Follow all company, Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
Support the wider branch team as required.Requirements:
Forklift Truck Licence - essential.
Good attention to detail and communication skills.
Basic IT and numeracy skills.
Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
Warehouse/yard experience and Reach Truck Licence desirable.
Full UK Driving Licence desirable.This is a hands-on role involving manual handling, indoor/outdoor working and the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
Pay Rate:
£12.74 per hour.
Shift Schedule:
Monday-Friday
08:00-17:30
