Recruit are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Joiners to join our client team for a range of renovation projects across Oldham. This role involves a variety of joinery tasks across residential and commercial projects, including installation, repairs, and bespoke woodwork. The ideal candidate will take pride in high-quality craftsmanship and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
The Client has a long-term contract with Oldham Council for project management on their social housing scheme.
Work Days
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Pay CIS: Starting from £160 per day
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspects of joinery work including first fix, second fix, and finishing

Install doors, windows, staircases, kitchens, and fitted furniture

Undertake repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work

Read and interpret technical drawings and plans

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Liaise with clients, contractors, and team members professionally

Social Housing
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter

Multi-skilled background (e.g., basic plastering, tiling, or plumbing is advantageous)

Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site

A valid CSCS Blue Card is essential.

Own tools and transport

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent)
