Warehouse Operative
Location: Greater Manchester
Pay: £13.45 per hour, paid weekly
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Break: 1-hour lunch
Holiday: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays
Contract: Initial 4-week temporary assignment, with the possibility of extensionThe RoleWe are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join a busy team based in Greater Manchester.
This is a varied warehouse role involving picking and packing, booking goods into the system and following established processes and instructions. You will also use the company's bespoke internal computer system, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing orders accurately
Booking incoming goods onto the internal system
Checking stock and deliveries
Preparing goods for dispatch
Following instructions and warehouse procedures
Maintaining accurate records
Using the company's bespoke computer system
Keeping the warehouse and work areas organised and tidy
Working as part of the wider teamAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow instructions accurately
Computer literate and confident learning new systems
Organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable carrying out practical warehouse duties
A good team player
Must be available immediately Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, particularly within picking, packing or goods-in, although training will be provided on the company's internal system.
