Proactive Personnel are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to start work for our client on a permanent basis based in Chorley, Lancashire.
Duties include:

Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.

Working on large components using horizontal and vertical turning centres.

Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment.

Using CAD/CAM systems (available for the right candidate).

Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Meeting production deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC turning.

Strong programming skills using Fanuc controls.

Experience machining large, heavy components.
-
Fully competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Able to work to tight tolerances.
-
Strong quality focus and attention to detail.
-
Flexible approach to working hours (overtime may be required).
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 07:15am - 17:15pm.
Pay is £17.04p/h.
