Sign Maker
Location: Redditch
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 4 days per week
Working hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Sign Maker to join a busy, well-established manufacturing company based in Redditch. The company specialises in producing high-quality, bespoke internal and external signage for a wide range of commercial clients.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role where you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling a variety of bespoke signage products.
The Role
Manufacture and assemble bespoke signage from technical drawings and production schedules
Cut, fold, shape and assemble sign trays
Prepare signage for powder coating
Work with built-up 3D letters and panel systems
Handle a variety of materials including metals, acrylics, timber and plastics
Experience with LEDs for illuminated signage is advantageous
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
Work independently and as part of a wider production team
Carry out occasional local deliveries and collections from suppliers
Learn and develop additional skills within the factory environment
About You
Previous experience as a Sign Maker or within a similar hands-on manufacturing or fabrication environment
Practical and confident working with a range of materials and tools
Able to work from technical drawings and production schedules
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and hardworking with a positive, can-do attitude
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
A full, clean driving licence is required for occasional deliveries and collections
