Job Title: Clinical Receptionist and Booking Clerk
Hours: Monday to Friday – x1 37.5 hours per week & x1 25.5 hours per week

What you’ll be responsible for:

The reception and documentation of patients, including validation of patient information.
-
Updating patient information using the Patient Administration System.

Assisting patients to use the self-check in kiosks where possible, recording the arrival of patients using the Trust’s digital check in service.

Dealing with any telephone enquiries received by the Outpatient department.

Dealing with patient enquiries at the desk and giving directions to other departments.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust.

An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
-
Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:

Previous experience working in a reception role
-
Previous experience of using IT quickly.

Previous experience of working within customer service.
