Who: Level 2/3 Learning Support Assistant
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist complex needs setting in Oldbury. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with additional needs by providing support, care, and encouragement throughout their educational journey.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance, Early Years, Health & Social Care, or a related field, and will be passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Students within the setting are supported to re-engage with education, develop independence and life skills, and receive tailored emotional and learning support. Previous experience supporting individuals with PMLD, SLD, ASD, complex needs, or similar SEN requirements would be highly beneficial.

Previous SEN experience, either professionally or personally
Understanding of supporting children with additional needs
Ability to assist pupils with mobility and personal care requirements where necessary

Experience within educational, care, or support-based environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
