My client, based in Bristol client is a growing and established law firm seeking a Conveyancing professional to join its team. The role involves managing a varied caseload, supporting the wider Conveyancing Department and delivering a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities
• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders
• Manage and progress a varied caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure files remain compliant
• Monitor key dates, particularly for auction and new-build matters, ensuring deadlines are met
• Proactively progress matters to achieve efficient outcomes for clients
• Draft and review contract packages, raise enquiries and submit searches
• Prepare title, mortgage and search reports and act for mortgage lenders
•Conduct exchanges of contracts and agree transfer deeds
• Work collaboratively with the wider Conveyancing team to deliver a seamless service
Person Specification
• Current Practicing Certificate
• Law Degree
• Relevant conveyancing training or qualifications
• Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
• Experience working directly with clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong discretion and professionalism
• Good IT skills and confidence working electronically
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desirable Knowledge
• Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations and HM Land Registry
• Familiarity with legal technology and electronic filing systems
• Understanding of the conveyancing process
