Streetworks Scheduler – Huntingdon
Lynx Employment Services are recruiting for an experienced Streetworks Scheduler to support a 6-month Winter Readiness Project in Huntingdon.
This is a part-remote role, with 2–3 days per week in the office.
The role
You'll be responsible for scheduling and coordinating Streetworks activity, managing permits and notices, and working closely with contractors and traffic management companies to keep works on track.
Key duties will include:
Scheduling Streetworks and highways activities
Managing and monitoring permits, notices and associated documentation
Coordinating contractors, teams and resources
Liaising with traffic management companies and other stakeholders
Monitoring works and identifying potential clashes or delays
Maintaining accurate records and systems
Supporting the wider team with reporting and administration
Ensuring works are planned efficiently and within required timescales
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in people with experience in:
Streetworks scheduling or permitting
Highways or utilities
Traffic management
Highways maintenance or construction
Working with local or highway authorities
Knowledge of NRSWA and experience using streetworks permitting systems would be useful. Relevant Streetworks/NRSWA qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
You'll also need to be organised, confident dealing with contractors and able to manage multiple deadlines. Good Excel and Outlook skills are required.

£27.79 per hour PAYE
£38 per hour Umbrella
6-month contract
