We are currently recruiting an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong civil engineering background to work on a high-profile project, supporting the successful delivery of site activities while developing their career within a major project environment.
The Role
As Sub Agent, you will support the Site Agent and wider project team with the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities. You will help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Site Agent with daily site operations and construction activities.

Supervising subcontractors and site teams.

Coordinating labour, plant, materials and site resources.

Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, drawings and specifications.

Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to the project team.

Supporting the delivery of works against programme and agreed milestones.

Assisting with inspections, quality control and site documentation.

Identifying and helping resolve construction issues.

Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.

Working closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and project management.

Attending site meetings and assisting with project reporting.
About You
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Sub Agent, Site Agent, Section Engineer or similar, ideally within civil engineering or major infrastructure.
Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills are essential, together with a good understanding of construction programmes, drawings, specifications and site safety.
SMSTS and relevant CSCS certification are required. Experience within nuclear, energy or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
