Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Stator Winder on a 6 month rolling contract based in Warwickshire.
Role Summary
We're recruiting experienced stator winders for a contract with a leading manufacturer of large electric motors and generators in Warwickshire. You'll be winding multi-MW HV machines used in energy, industrial and marine applications.
Responsibilities

Fitting slot liners and inserting form-wound coils

Wedging and packing
-
End-winding bracing and blocking

Brazing connections (induction and flame)

Connecting and cabling
-
Working to engineering drawings and quality procedures
Requirements

Proven stator winding experience on MV/HV motors or generators

Hands-on coil insertion, not just coil prep or taping

Brazing experience
-
Ability to read engineering drawings
-
Good attention to detail and a safe way of working

VPI or HV testing experience

A background in a rewind shop or with an OEM
