General Labourer - Job Description
Job Title: General Labourer
Location: Dartmouth (TQ6)
Job Purpose:
To provide general manual support on construction sites, warehouses, factories, or other work environments, helping skilled workers and ensuring the workplace is clean, safe, and organised.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload, move, and store materials and equipment.
Assist skilled tradespeople with general tasks.
Keep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
Use basic hand tools and equipment safely.
Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers.
Help with deliveries and moving materials around the site.
Dispose of waste and materials appropriately.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Wear required PPE and report unsafe conditions.
Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements:
Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good awareness of health and safety.
Previous labouring experience is useful but may not be essential.
Relevant site qualifications such as a CSCS card may be required for construction work.
