RATE: £38-£40 per hour (umbrella, dependent on experience)

We are recruiting experienced Social Workers across multiple teams, offering competitive hourly rates, hybrid working and a supportive environment focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Experienced Social Worker – Assessment & Child Protection
Join the Assessment & Child Protection Team, working with children and families experiencing complex needs, safeguarding concerns and potential statutory or court intervention.
You will:
• Manage complex and multifaceted caseloads independently
• Undertake detailed assessments of need, risk and harm
• Work directly with children, young people and families
• Develop SMART, child-centred plans
• Provide statutory support to high-need/high-risk cases
• Prepare reports and present evidence in court where required
• Work in accordance with Social Work England standards and the BASW Professional Capabilities Framework

The right Social Worker should have
✔️ Social Work qualification – Degree / DipSW / CQSW
✔️ Current Social Work England registration
✔️ Minimum 3 years’ permanent experience
✔️ Strong children’s social care and safeguarding experience
✔️ Experience managing caseloads independently
✔️ Strong assessment, analytical and report-writing skills
✔️ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✔️ Enhanced DBS where required
✔️ Full UK driving licence where required by the role
✔️ Fluent English language skills for effective customer-facing practice
