Our client, a dynamic organisation committed to driving economic growth across the East Midlands, is seeking two talented Lawyers specialising in Commercial, Contracts, and Procurement. This opportunity is offered on a Fixed-Term Contract until March 31, 2027, with one position full-time and another requiring a commitment of three days a week.
The Role:
As a vital member of the Legal, Governance, and Compliance team, you will play a key role in supporting the clients' expanding portfolio. The role focuses on providing comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of matters, particularly contracts and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse and varied caseload of legal matters and enquiries.
Provide expert legal advice on contracts, procurement, and commercial issues.
Draught, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with precision.
Maintain accurate electronic records and case files within case management systems.
Deliver a responsive, customer-focused service to internal stakeholders.
Work independently while fostering collaboration with colleagues.
Ensure transparency and openness in managing and progressing legal work.About You:

Strong experience in handling contracts and procurement-related legal work.
Comfort in managing a busy and varied caseload effectively.
Proficiency in using legal case and document management systems.
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
