Our client is a premier chartered construction specialist delivering exceptional niche projects across residential property development, and complex construction projects throughout the UK.
As an Estimator you will carry out niche, high-end residential development tenders working with professionalism and integrity from initial enquiry to completion, providing services of the highest calibre.
Role Purpose
- Produce accurate, competitive cost estimates and tender packages for basement construction projects and property developments from feasibility through to final tender submission.
Key Responsibilities

Take off quantities and price basement schemes, including underpinning, piling, retaining walls, waterproofing/tanking and dewatering

Analyse drawings, specifications and ground investigation reports to identify cost-significant risks

Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for specialist basement packages

Prepare cost plans, tender submissions and value engineering options

Liaise with designers, structural engineers and clients on buildability and cost

Assess risk items specific to basements, including groundwater, party wall implications, temporary works and contaminated ground
Essential Experience
-
Proven estimating background in residential high-end properties, ideally with involvement on basement/substructure work.

Knowledge of temporary works principles.

Familiarity with NEC/JCT contract forms
