We are looking for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Newmarket. You’ll be involved in building and assembling wooden structures, working from drawings and specifications and using a range of hand tools.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right person.
What you'll be doing

Building and assembling wooden structures to specification

Following drawings, diagrams and written instructions
-
Using a variety of hand tools safely and confidently

Moving and handling materials weighing up to 25kg

Working as part of a busy production team

Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment
What we're looking for

Previous experience using hand tools

Good practical and problem-solving skills

Ability to understand drawings and instructions

Comfortable with physical/manual work

Reliable and hardworking
-
Full, clear UK driving licence – essential
What's on offer

£13.00–£14.50 per hour, depending on experience

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
