I am looking for a Multi Trade Operative to work on behalf of a leading Norwich based housing association.
About the role
The majority of the work will be in and around Dereham and Kings Lynn, but travel may be required throughout Norfolk and North Norfolk.
Work will involve carrying out multi trade repairs to a high standard on a range of void properties.
Van and power tools provided (you will need to supply your own hand tools)
£21 - £22 P/H Umbrella or CISThe main focus of the role will be:
To minimise void properties and to ensure planned works, responsive and void repairs are carried out efficiently and effectively and to the customer's satisfaction
To work as part of a team carrying out repairs from carpentry and plumbing.
This will be a 40 hour per week position Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 16:30pm The successful candidate will have the following:
Either a full trade apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 in either carpentry or plumbing or appropriate trade experience within at least 2 different trades.
Experience dealing with customers directly.
A full UK driving licence
Experience of working in Property Maintenance
Good IT skills (able to use a PDA system)This role will be subject to a DBS check.
This is a temporary contract running until March 2027.
