Service Coordinator – Remote | Scotland | 6-Month Maternity Cover
We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join a growing Security Engineering company, responsible for coordinating engineers and service activities across the Scotland region.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will be responsible for coordinating security engineers, managing workloads and handling a high volume of customer calls and enquiries. The role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, can think quickly and is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
The Role

Coordinate and manage workloads for 5–6 security engineers across Scotland

Schedule and allocate service and maintenance work efficiently

Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls

Liaise with engineers, customers and internal teams

Manage customer enquiries and service requests

Coordinate engineer attendance across multiple sites

Update internal systems and maintain accurate service records

Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and customer requirements are met

Monitor engineer workloads and respond to changes or urgent requests

Provide general administrative support to the wider service team
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, Scheduler, Planner or similar coordination role.
You will ideally have:

Experience coordinating engineers or field-based teams

Experience working in a fast-paced service environment

Strong organisation and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The ability to coordinate multiple engineers and workloads

Confidence handling a high volume of telephone calls

Good attention to detail and accuracy

A proactive approach and ability to think on your feet

Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
Previous experience within security, fire & security, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, facilities management, property maintenance or another field-service environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
