Engage Education is recruiting a staff member to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship based in one of our SEN Schools.
This is a dedicated 11-month apprenticeship programme, providing the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting pupils across the primary age range while working towards a recognised Level 3 Classroom Support/Teaching Assistant qualification.
We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual who is fully committed to signing the learning agreement and completing the full 11-month programme.

Key Responsibilities
Working alongside class teachers and the wider school team, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group classroom support to pupils
-
Assist teachers with delivering engaging learning activities across the curriculum
-
Support pupils with reading, writing, maths and other classroom-based activities
-
Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
-
Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
-
Support pupils with their social, emotional and communication development
-
Provide additional support for children with SEN and additional needs, where required

Assist pupils with individual learning targets and support plans

Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and other members of the school team

Requirements:

Commitment: Strong dedication to completing the full 11-month learning agreement and apprenticeship programme

Academics: GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ (or equivalent) preferred
