Manufacturing Operative
Bury St Edmunds
£16.00 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established manufacturing plant in Bury St Edmunds, playing a key role in the production process.
Working hours are on a rotational basis of 12 hour day and night shifts (Includes weekends)
Duties –
Operate and monitor production equipment
Ensure products meet quality standards
Help meet daily and weekly production targets
Keep the work area clean and safe
Follow health, safety, and environmental rules
Support stock control and stock takes
Work with maintenance to reduce downtime
Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly
Skills & Experience –
Experience in manufacturing or production
Ability to work with machinery
Good organisation and IT skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of production processes
Knowledge of lean manufacturing (helpful but not essential)
