We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join an established precision engineering business supporting demanding sectors including automotive, motorsport and advanced manufacturing.
The Role
Programming, setting and operating 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines
Online programming using HEIDENHAIN controls
Offline programming using CAM software
Producing precision components to tight tolerances
Selecting tooling, fixtures and cutting strategies
Reading engineering drawings and CAD models
Inspecting own work and carrying out dimensional check
Supporting improvements to machining processes
About You
Proven CNC Milling experience
Confident programming, setting and operating independently
Experience working to tight tolerances
Strong understanding of engineering drawings
High attention to detail and quality
HEIDENHAIN experience desirable
Experience with XYZ, Bridgeport or VISI desirable
Precision engineering, motorsport, automotive or tooling experience desirableIND5
