The Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
Support students who require additional behavioural and emotional support.
Build positive and professional relationships with young people.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Help students develop resilience, confidence and self-regulation strategies.
Support pupils with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs.
Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions.
Work closely with pastoral, SEND and safeguarding teams.
Act as a positive role model throughout the school day.
