IT Systems Business Analyst
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

ISQ Recruitment are supporting a leading UK food manufacturing business in the recruitment of an experienced IT Systems Business Analyst.
This is a business-facing IT role for someone who enjoys getting underneath how an organisation works, using systems and data to identify opportunities for improvement and turning technical information into practical solutions that make a measurable difference.
Working as part of the Group IT function, you will act as a key link between operational teams, senior stakeholders, internal IT specialists and external development partners.
The Role
You will work across different areas of the business to understand challenges, analyse existing processes and systems, and identify opportunities where technology, data or improved ways of working can deliver better results.
Key responsibilities will include:
Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and requirements
Translating business requirements into clear technical and functional specifications
Analysing existing systems, processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Producing business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps
Using data and reporting to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management
Supporting IT, systems and business-change projects from initial requirements through to implementation
Working with internal IT teams and external development partners
Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution and issue management
Producing reports, dashboards and business insights
Supporting the ongoing development of key business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Helping users understand new systems, processes and ways of working What We Are Looking For
You will ideally have 3-5 years of experience within Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis or a similar systems-focused role, alongside strong stakeholder-management skills.
You will need:
Strong business analysis and process-mapping experience
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Experience producing user stories and acceptance criteria
A good understanding of business systems and how technology can improve operational performance
Experience working with data, reporting or business intelligence
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
The ability to explain complex technical subjects clearly and practically
Experience across working multiple projects and priorities Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, logistics or another operational environment would be particularly advantageous. Experience with Microsoft Business Central, SQL, Qlik Sense or Power BI is also highly desirable.
