The Role
As a Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles following accident repairs, ensuring a high-quality finish and excellent colour match.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Preparing vehicles and panels for paint
·Sanding, filling and masking damaged areas
·Applying primers, basecoats and clearcoats
·Mixing and matching paint colours accurately
·Carrying out refinishing and paint repairs
·Preparing panels to the required standard before painting
·Ensuring paintwork meets quality and manufacturer standards
·Identifying and rectifying paint defects
·Working closely with Panel Beaters, MET Technicians and Bodyshop colleagues
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
·Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
About You
We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Paint Technician who takes pride in delivering a high-quality finish.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as an Automotive Paint Sprayer
·Experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
·Strong preparation and paint spraying skills
·Good knowledge of paint mixing and colour matching
·Experience with primers, basecoats and clearcoats
·Excellent attention to detail
·Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
·High standards of workmanship
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·A professional and reliable approach
