Warehouse Operative – Thame

Vanta Staffing is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and established operation in the Thame area.

We are specifically looking for candidates who live locally to Thame or within a reasonable commuting distance. Your current town or postcode MUST be clearly shown on your CV. Applications where we cannot identify your location will be automatically rejected, as reliable travel to the workplace is essential for this role.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding warehouse position. A large proportion of the stock consists of bulkier and heavier items, and you must be comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting items weighing up to 25kg.
The role will include:
Loading and unloading deliveries
Unloading incoming containers
Picking and packing orders
Handling larger and bulk items
Regular manual handling and lifting up to 25kg
Moving and organising stock
General warehouse duties
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What we're looking for
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, particularly within goods-in, container unloading, picking, packing or manual handling.
You must be reliable, punctual and physically capable of carrying out the duties of the role. You will need to be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and able to safely handle heavier items throughout your shift.
Own transport would be advantageous, although we are happy to consider candidates living locally who have a reliable way of getting to the Thame area for an 08:00 start every day.
