Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing facility in Skelmersdale.
£12.71 per hour
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
Monday to Friday
Immediate Start Available
Soldering Experience/Training Required
Safety Boots & Safety Glasses Required
This role is ideal for someone with previous soldering experience or relevant soldering training who is looking for a full-time, ongoing position within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble and build circuit boards to required specifications

Complete wiring and cable preparation tasks
-
Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and build instructions

Carry out soldering and assembly work accurately

Conduct testing and quality checks on completed products
-
Identify and report any faults or issues during assembly
-
Pack completed products safely and correctly for dispatch
-
Ensure all work meets quality and production standards

Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements

Soldering experience or relevant soldering training is essential

Previous production/manufacturing experience is desirable

Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Reliable and hardworking

Able to work effectively as part of a team

Safety boots and safety glasses must be worn
