Role details
The post-holder will provide administrative support to the NHS Individualised Commissioning Team and other areas of the Directorate. Basic finance duties are also required.
Duties & responsibilities
- Responsible for arranging meetings including sending meeting invites, room bookings and
recording notes as and when required

Able to populate template letters and other general correspondence in a professional and timely manner using the appropriate software packages

Responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date patient records on the digital referral and case management system

Able to use their knowledge sign post members of the public and professionals to appropriate services
-
Accurately code invoices for authorisation. Liaise with service providers and other stakeholders as appropriate to resolve queries without delay

Creating or amending meeting room diary bookings for the team
-
Uploading of patient information on to the digital platform

Responsible for completing checks to on behalf of the service to ensure appropriate responsible commissioner for each case.

Booking of reviews and MDT as guided by clinical staff

Checking the GP registration for all referrals

Managing budgets for care packages for nursing home or end of life patients
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:

Previous administrative experience in a confidential environment

Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public

Basic knowledge of IT systems and software such as Outlook, Word and Excel
-
Good communication skills, i.e., able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
-
Ability to prioritise own workload and demonstrate good time management
-
Ability to deal with people at all levels within the organisation and external agencies when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
