More about your role
You will be required to work within a Retirement Living housing development supporting the effective and efficient property management and administration of the development. You will be providing a full range of administrative duties to the service which incorporates administrative, secretarial, financial, housing management services (including sign ups and void turnaround), performance reporting / monitoring and required business processes to ensure services are operating within sound and auditable environment.
You will provide comprehensive administrative and housing management support, including maintaining records and databases, handling enquiries and correspondence, organising meetings and documentation, supporting tenancy and health & safety processes, processing invoices and purchase orders, and assisting with projects to deliver excellent customer service and support organisational objectives.
The role is based over 2 locations, based 3 days each week at our Drum Court in Gilmerton (EH17 8QE) and 2 days each week at Heinsberg House in Penicuik (EH26 8NH). You must be able to travel to both locations.
More about you
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, IT, and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and love working with people, especially the elderly. They should be well organised, able to manage competing priorities, understand financial processes, and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ideally you will have knowledge or experience of working with the elderly, housing and building management/health & safety knowledge or experience – but this isn't essential.
