THE ROLE
As an Experienced Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry-leading standards. Working as part of a skilled Bodyshop team, you will use your technical expertise and attention to detail to complete structural and cosmetic repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out structural and non-structural accident damage repairs to vehicles
·Remove, repair and replace damaged body panels and components
·Carry out panel beating, straightening, reshaping and metalwork repairs
·Complete welding and sectioning repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair methods
·Ensure vehicles are repaired accurately and efficiently to required quality standards
·Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, Estimators and Workshop Controllers
·Inspect completed repairs to ensure high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
·Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment while following Health & Safety procedures
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and technically capable Panel Beater who takes pride in producing high-quality accident repairs and wants to develop their career within a professional Bodyshop environment.
·Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an automotive accident repair centre or Bodyshop
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body repair techniques
·Experienced in panel replacement, repair, alignment and structural damage repair
·Confident using welding equipment and specialist Bodyshop repair tools
·Ability to follow manufacturer repair methods and technical procedures
·Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
·Ability to work efficiently to agreed repair times and production deadlines
·Strong team player with a professional and positive attitude
·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous but not essential
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
