Class 2 Driver (Pickup & 26T Rigid)

We are currently recruiting a reliable and versatile Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Oldbury.
In this role, you will initially operate our company pickup truck while also being fully utilized to drive our 26-tonne rigid vehicle. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable day-shift hours and a great work-life balance with an early finish every Friday.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate and drive both company pickup trucks and 26-tonne rigid vehicles as required.

Transport goods efficiently to designated locations across local and regional routes.

Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.

Ensure loads are correctly secured and within legal weight limits.

Complete all required delivery paperwork and driver logs accurately.

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe vehicle environment.
Candidate Requirements

Licence: Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.

Qualifications: Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.

Experience: Experience operating 26T rigid vehicles and light commercial vehicles/pickups.

Strong knowledge of road safety, driving regulations, and tachograph rules.

Punctual, dependable, and physically capable of handling vehicle checks and securing loads.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
