Are you an experienced Production Planner, Materials Planner or Supply Chain Planner with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing?
Due to continued growth, a growing FMCG manufacturer is looking to recruit a Production & Materials Planner to manage production scheduling, materials planning and inventory across a busy, fast-paced operation.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex manufacturing environment, balancing customer demand, materials availability, production capacity and frequent line changeovers.
The Production & Materials Planner will be responsible for:

Developing achievable production plans based on customer orders, capacity and resource availability

Ensuring raw materials and packaging are available to support manufacturing requirements · Adjusting schedules to accommodate changing priorities, product changeovers and operational demands

Managing planning data, production orders and product information within the ERP system

Supporting new product launches and ensuring a smooth transition into production

Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock movements between locations

Identifying potential supply risks and implementing solutions to minimise disruption

Collaborating with operational teams to improve planning accuracy and efficiency
Skills and Experience
-
Previous experience within Production Planning, Materials Planning or Supply Chain Planning

Background within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment

Experience managing complex production schedules with frequent changeovers and short lead times

Strong ERP system experience

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Confident communicator with the ability to influence across multiple departments

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
