FLT Driver / Yard person
The successful candidate MUST have been driving a Counterbalance FLT for a minimum of 30 hours per week for the last 6 months.
The ideal candidate will have similar experience and in date valid counterbalance licence.
Start date is ASAP
General duties
· Loading and unloading various types of materials
· Loading pallets of concrete bars,
· Moving stock and materials around site
· Housekeeping daily cleaning of the site.
· Supervising unload sand / cement.
· Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
· Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised
Hours / Pay
· 40hrs per week (1/2 hour unpaid break per day) 40hrs paid per week
· Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
· £16.50 per hour
What we’re looking for:
· A valid external Counterbalance FLT licence is essential
· In-house FLT licences will NOT be accepted
· Previous Counterbalance experience
· Comfortable working in a hands-on, varied role
· Reliable, punctual and hardworking
· Good attitude
