Commercial Insurance Account Handler
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Office-based in Northampton but with flexible working arrangements (9am – 5pm)
Our client is a well-established, independent insurance broker with nearly 15 years’ experience, a growing business and a broad mix of commercial clients.
They are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their team, working with larger SME and mid-market risks, including complex cases.
The Role

Manage and service a portfolio of commercial clients

Handle renewals, MTAs, new business and client enquiries

Work with insurers to secure appropriate cover

Deal with larger SME and mid-market risks

Maintain strong client relationships and high service standards

Use Acturis to manage accounts and policy administration
What They're Looking For

Ideally 2+ years' commercial insurance experience

Previous Account Handler experience

Strong Acturis knowledge
-
Experience with larger SME/mid-market risks
-
Self-motivated, organised and commercially aware

Excellent communication and attention to detail
