Garage Helper / Tyre Fitter
Location: M38 – Little Hulton, Manchester
Hours: Monday–Saturday, 6 hours per day in the afternoon
Total: 36 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours over time
Pay: £12.71 per hour, with potential for an increase following successful training
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Garage Helper / Tyre Fitter to join our busy garage in Little Hulton.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to develop your skills and increase your pay following successful training.
Key Responsibilities

Fitting and changing tyres on cars, vans and larger vehicles/trucks

Removing and fitting wheels and tyres safely

Carrying out general garage duties

Assisting other members of the garage team

Moving and handling tyres and other equipment

Heavy lifting as part of the day-to-day role

Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe

Following all health and safety procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will be:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

Practical and willing to learn

Comfortable working with larger vehicles and heavy tyres

Able to follow instructions and work safely

A team player with a positive attitude
Previous garage or tyre-fitting experience is needed
