Functional / Disability Assessor (WCA)

Salary: £45,000–£47,000 starting salary (pathway-dependent) + guaranteed uplifts + bonuses
Location: Medwyn House, Mountfield Road, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 2XR — office-based during training, 50/50 hybrid after
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. No nights. No weekends. No on-call.

What You'll Be Doing
Conducting face-to-face, phone, or video consultations with people living with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
Reviewing medical evidence and applying your clinical judgement to assess functional capacity
Writing clear, objective, evidence-based reports

Plus:
5% one-off bonus on approval

Active NMC, HCPC, or GPhC registration — Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
Minimum 1 year post-qualification clinical experience (adult experience, as you'll assess ages 16–65)
Strong communication, listening, and analytical skills, plus confident report writing and IT use
