We are seeking experienced and dedicated General Practitioners (GPs) to provide high-quality patient care across GP practices and Out-of-Hours services. The successful candidate should be confident working independently in busy clinical environments and be willing to travel and work across multiple sites as required.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive GP and Out-of-Hours medical care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients.

Manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions across different age groups.

Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, including appropriate triage and referrals.

Maintain accurate and timely electronic patient records and clinical documentation.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with clinical systems, including SystmOne, Adastra, and other GP/Out-of-Hours patient management systems.

Prescribe medication safely and appropriately in line with relevant clinical guidelines.

Refer patients to secondary care, emergency services, or other healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate.

Work effectively with nurses, healthcare assistants, administrative teams, and other multidisciplinary professionals.

Follow all applicable clinical governance, safeguarding, confidentiality, infection control, and patient safety procedures.

Be flexible and willing to work across multiple sites, including evenings, weekends, nights, and Out-of-Hours shifts where required.
Essential Requirements

Valid medical qualification and appropriate professional registration/licence to practise.

Relevant experience working as a GP, preferably including GP Out-of-Hours/Urgent Care.

Strong hands-on working knowledge of SystmOne, Adastra, and similar clinical systems.

Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and patient-care skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively in fast-paced environments.

Flexibility to travel between and work at multiple locations/sites.

Valid right to work and completion of all relevant employment and compliance checks
