Warehouse Operative
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £29,400 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm–10pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a busy, hands-on team in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and providing a high standard of service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:

Picking and packing customer orders safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and controlled manner

Supporting goods-in and checking incoming deliveries

Moving and putting away stock

Preparing orders ready for dispatch

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation using 5S methodology

Supporting perpetual and location-driven stock audits
-
Working as part of the warehouse team to achieve daily and weekly targets

Ensuring accuracy when handling and preparing customer orders

Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
Key Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:

Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is beneficial but not essential

Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy boxes and tubes

Comfortable navigating a large warehouse and locating stock

Proactive and methodical approach to work

Able to adapt to a changing environment while remaining calm

Reliable, punctual and flexible

Good organisational skills

Great attention to detail and a good attitude
