Duties

Design, fabricate, and assemble signage using a variety of materials, tools, and techniques to meet project specifications.

Install signs/graphics on different surfaces including walls, vehicles, windows, poles, and buildings with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.

Measure spaces accurately to ensure proper sign placement and alignment for optimal visibility.

Collaborate with clients to understand design requirements and provide expert advice on materials and installation methods.

Conduct site inspections before installation to identify potential challenges or hazards and plan accordingly.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after each job.

Complete detailed documentation of projects, including measurements, materials used, and installation procedures.
Qualifications

Proven experience in the sign making industry.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and sign fabrication equipment such as vinyl cutters, digital printers and laminators.

Strong physical stamina to lift heavy materials, dig footings, work at heights, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting installation challenges.

Knowledge of safety standards related to construction and signage installation is highly desirable.

Ability to read technical drawings or design layouts accurately.

Valid driver’s license for site travel.

Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.

Knowledge of composer or similar sign design software.
