External Sales Manager* Segment – Logistics
This position will be filled in our Business Unit Automation. Within your role you will be responsible for increasing the turnover of the products and services in your area of responsibility. In addition to profitability, your goal is customer satisfaction. Your sales activities will focus on the DACH region. Your superior is the Head of Sales of the Business Unit Automation. The activity is hybrid with an expectation to be on site for 2 days per week.
- Strategy: Implementing the strategic direction so that we can achieve our monthly and annual targets and KPIs. This includes regular alignments with your team and the Head of Sales
- Sales-Pipeline: You manage the sales pipeline of your products and services, create a monthly forecast and contribute to marketing activities in your designated area
- Budget: Monitoring the budget is also part of your job. You always keep an eye on the profitability of your region
- Customer: Your customer's needs are one of your priorities. An important part of your work is building and maintaining customer relationships
- Development: By actively approaching new customers, networking, attending events and observing market trends and the competition, you identify development potential, which you prepare and evaluate for stakeholders
- Proposal: Based on the customer budget and available resources, you develop pricing models and are the main contact for your customers. In addition, you will work with experts from development and project management to develop proposals tailored to meet the customer's needs
- You have acquired at least two years of professional experience in industrial sales, ideally in automation technology, image processing or related industries (e.g. robotics)
- With your technical and sound commercial knowledge, you have the necessary know-how to be the single point of contact for your customers
- You are characterized by a high level of customer orientation and communication skills, enjoy networking and are willing to travel, even internationally, as part of your job
- Above all, you can score points in this job with a structured, goal- and result-oriented way of working
- A very good command of English is complementing your profile
