We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership located in Gloucester, for the position of Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor. This Parts Advisor role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with recent experience in automotive parts, particularly within a dealership or motor factors environment, and an interest in commercial vehicles.

Competitive salary between £30,000 and £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Performance-related bonus scheme worth approximately £300 per month plus 1% over 120% of monthly target

Deal with trade and retail customer enquiries regarding parts
Accurately identify and process parts orders, ensuring prompt picking and dispatch
Provide excellent customer service in face-to-face, email, and telephone interactions
Manage stock control and parts inventory
Supply parts to HGV Technicians in the workshop
Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver in their absence
Maintain accurate records using electronic parts catalogue systems (experience with Kerridge/Keyloop advantageous)
Collaborate closely with the Parts Department team and Parts ManagerRequirements of a Parts Advisor:
Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor within an automotive dealership or motor factors
Knowledge of commercial vehicle parts is desirable but not essential
Strong organisational and IT skills; experience with electronic parts catalogue systems preferred
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and professional manner
