Your Role As a Band 5 Registered General Nurse (RGN), your responsibilities will include:
Providing safe, compassionate and patient-centred nursing care
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care
Administering medications safely and accurately
Monitoring patient observations and recognising deterioration
Escalating clinical concerns appropriately
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Working effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Supporting patients, relatives and carers
Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
Following safeguarding, clinical governance and patient safety procedures
What We're Looking For To be considered for our Band 5 RGN opportunities, you should have:
Valid NMC registration
Relevant UK NHS nursing experience
Previous experience working as an RGN / Registered Nurse
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
A professional, reliable and compassionate approach
Flexibility to work suitable day, night and/or weekend shifts
