Warehouse Loader / Unloader – Furniture
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Loaders / Unloaders to join our team. The role involves loading and unloading furniture and flat-pack products, as well as carrying out a variety of general warehouse duties.
Job Details
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 06:00–14:30 8h paid/ 30 min break unpaid
Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour

Key Duties

Loading and unloading sofas, chairs and other furniture products.

Manually moving and handling flat-pack furniture weighing approximately 40–70 kg.

Picking furniture and preparing orders for dispatch.

Checking, sorting and accurately labelling products.

Moving stock around the warehouse and ensuring goods are stored safely.

Preparing sofas, chairs and other furniture for delivery.

Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.

Following all health and safety and manual handling procedures.
Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling.

Able to safely lift and move furniture, using appropriate team lifting or mechanical assistance where required.

Good attention to detail when picking and labelling orders.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on position focused on the handling, preparation and movement of sofas, chairs and other furniture products. The successful candidate will need to be physically capable, reliable and willing to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks throughout the working day.
