They are looking for a Showroom, Events & Technical Support Coordinator to manage their London showroom, home to product displays, CPD's and events.
Responsibilities for the role of Showroom, Events & Technical Support Coordinator is to coordinate the day to day running of the showroom; ensuring the company is represented to the highest level of professionalism in the showroom space. Liaise with all departments to ensure the showroom is suitably equipped, staffed and marketing material and product displays are well maintained.
To be the first point of contact for all visitors to the showroom, meeting and greeting guests and providing refreshments.
To respond to all email and phone enquiries in a professional and timely manner. To manage the meeting room and IT facilities.
To encourage attendance to the showroom by customers.
To support the Specification Team and Marketing Team in business development, marketing and events activity.
To arrange and manage CPD presentations at the showroom and at client offices.
To learn the range of products and their features and benefits. To gain an understanding of the UK construction market, specifically how construction products are specified, used and distributed and the key stakeholders involved.
Support the technical department in the generation of CAD details.
Shadow members of the specification team at specifier meetings, attend training sessions and CPD seminars.
To learn internal the company's processes and systems.
There is an opportunity to progress into other roles within the Specification Team and wider business after 2-3 years in this role.
This exciting Showroom, Events & Technical Support Coordinator role will suit an outgoing individual with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to work and a real desire to learn and progress.
A qualification or experience in a construction related discipline such as Interior Design or Architecture, and experience within a showroom or customer facing role would be highly desirable.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) are required as well as the ability to pick up new systems such as CRM.
Proficiency in CAD detailing is highly desirable.
The ability to handle enquiries and manage projects over time, is also required.
The role is showroom based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with the occasional requirement to work later for an evening event or potentially an overnight hotel stay.
