Job Title: Manufacturing Operator I
Location: Paisley PA4 9RE
Contract: 6 Months (Full-Time)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are recruiting for our manufacturing facility in Paisley and looking for a Manufacturing Operator I to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our cell culture media and reagent manufacturing processes, ensuring daily production schedules and quality standards are consistently met.
Pay & Shift Allowances
Base Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
Shift Premium: +25% Shift Allowance
Effective Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour (including allowance)
Annual Salary Equivalent: £27,107 per yearShift Pattern
3-week rotating pattern (37.5 hrs/week):
Week 1 (Early): 06:00 - 14:00
Week 2 (Night): 22:00 - 06:00
Week 3 (Back): 14:00 - 22:00Key Responsibilities
Support daily manufacturing of cell culture media and reagents.
Safely handle chemicals and materials in cleanroom/graded manufacturing environments.
Follow strict gowning and safety protocols (PPE provided).
Maintain process efficiency to hit schedule targets.
Collaborate with team leaders, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards.Requirements
Education: National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or relevant work experience. School leavers are welcome to apply!
Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a drive for continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods.
Flexibility: Able to commit to the 3-week rotating shift pattern.What We Offer
