Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-organised secondary school in Salford to recruit an experienced School Administrator to provide support on a part-time basis, working Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This is a varied frontline role that will suit a confident and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and can provide a professional service to staff, students, parents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Managing reception and front-of-house duties
Greeting visitors and handling enquiries professionally
Answering and directing telephone calls
Providing administrative support to the wider school team
Delivering student services support throughout the school day
Administering First Aid and maintaining accurate records of incidents
Supporting student welfare and attendance-related matters where required
Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding procedures at all timesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous administration experience, ideally within a school environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience working on a busy reception desk
A valid First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake training
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom would be advantageousWhat We Offer
