Brake Press Setter / Operator
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Salary: £600 per week plus overtime
Employment: Permanent, full-time

A manufacturing company based in Tyseley, Birmingham, is looking for an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator.
Duties include:

Setting and operating Amada CNC brake press machines.

Producing one-off and bespoke stainless-steel components.

Working with stainless-steel sheet, generally 1mm–3mm and occasionally up to 5mm.

Reading and working from engineering drawings.

Carrying out tooling changes.

Adjusting machine settings to achieve the required dimensions.

Checking finished components for accuracy and quality.
Experience required:

Previous experience setting and operating brake presses.

Experience with Amada machines would be advantageous.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Experience working with stainless steel.

Good attention to detail.

Reliable approach to work.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Overtime is available.
